He is not your typical biker going after every girl he sees, only to ignore the one he really wants. From the moment Lo meets Meg he knows he wants her and goes for her. No games. He is furiously loyal to his club and anyone he deems his. As President of the Devil's Knights, he must balance his desires for Meg while dealing with another club looking for a turf war.

Meg is a strong woman, comfortable with herself. However, like most women, she still has a few insecurities. Lo fights to break through her insecurities to show Meg herself through his eyes. Every girl deserves a Lo.

The story is a beautiful one full of hope, trust, understanding, strength and love. This is a must read. I can’t wait for the next in the series, Rigid’s story. No cliffhanger.

I just finished reading this highly anticipated first book in the "Devils Knights" series. I'm an MC Romance fan and this one is unlike any other. The Devils Knights are NOT part of the 1%er clubs out there and are looking for legitimate ways of doing business. Logan "Lo" is a dreamy Club Prez. who falls for Meg. Meg doesn't believe in love anymore because of a bad marriage and thinks she's too flawed to give herself to anyone. Lo, thinks Meg is perfect for him. It's a wonderful story of falling in love and realizing your own self-worth. I'm looking forward to more books in this series as the secondary characters are all just as realistic and lovable as the main. Good Job Ms. Travers! Now when is book 2 coming out.
I came to this book and series late. But, better late than never. I love Travers work so I figured I would go back and read this series. Imagine my surprise when the heroine is older 36, plus size (size 18 but I don't consider that really "plus size"), and has a teenage kid. I was like yay. But it fell apart from there.

We never have any interaction between Meg and her son. Joint custody but he is never there. Then, insta-love. I don't mind insta-lust or insta-connection, not insta-endgame. I think it leaves little room for relationship development. Meg has low self-esteem and pushes Lo away which is understandable considering the relationship with her ex but how can she tell herself she loves him in one breath not believe in him in the next?

I guess this book was mainly about overcoming personal demons because there really is no other plot. A few MC issues but nothing major. Oh, something I do wonder about, do we ever find out why Meg says she can't have kids?

I will try again with this series. If the next one is about the same I may just wash my hands of this series but not her more recent work which I know I love.
I got this one on sale for 99 cents and seeing as I love biker MC books it was a no-brainer that I grabbed it. Pretty good at times, silly at others and hot and sexy most of the time, I enjoyed this story of a plus-size woman battling her inner demons and doubts while the sexy beast of an MC Prez fights for her to be his woman.
Started off a cute story as Meg helps out the mom of King (Lo) when she gets dizzy in a grocery store...and of course the old lady sets her son up with Meg on a date. Not knowing he was in an MC makes for some funny and wild battles of wills but in the end, the story was pretty straight forward and mixed club action with steamy romance. I enjoyed it enough to get the second book about Meg's BFF Cyn.

I saw this one recommended on GR and decided to try it. It was a pretty good, lite MC romance. The first couple of chapters were kind of iffy but the longer I read I kind of liked the romance. It's got that KA style to it and there's nothing dark in it, no violence, etc. But Lo, the H, is really a hot, alpha, OTT possessive man and the author sure knows how to write some steamy love scenes. The author makes the other MC members jump out at you and the next book is about an interesting MC member, Rigid the SAA. The h is not your usual glamorous beauty, she's 36, a size 18 and a normal mother of a 16 year old. I would give it a 3.5 and think it's worth the read if you want a lighter, KA style romance with hot guys.
